I was born and raised in the Indianapolis metro, the youngest of three brothers.  After high school I attended Bob Jones University where I graduated in 1992 with a Bachelors degree, and then went on to obtain my Masters in Counseling. I pastored for several years in Kentucky before the Lord led my family and I to Glen Burnie, Maryland, where I served for 17 years, first as Youth Pastor, and then Senior Pastor. In 2010 God brought our family to Nebraska where we have been serving Him ever since.

My wife, Anita, and I have two grown children, and one spoiled West Highland Terrier.  In my down time I am a dedicated Indianapolis Colts fan, am quite particular regarding the state of my lawn, and am an avid pickle ball player.  I look forward to meeting you and welcoming you into our church family.

I am a life-long Nebraskan, other than a short stint wandering in the wilderness of western and central Iowa.  I was raised here in the Omaha Metro, attended Omaha Christian Academy, then Faith Baptist Bible College and eventually Grace University where I earned my Bachelors in Christian Ministry and Bible with a Youth Ministry Emphasis.  In 2001 I married my wife, Kendra, and God has blessed us with 4 great kids.  Over our 18+ years of youth ministry I have eaten at least 1,000 slices of pizza, been hit with more dodge balls than one can count, and spent many nights “locked-in” with teens.  The greatest joy of it all has been sharing Jesus’ story of grace with hundreds of students, seeing them choose to serve Him and go on to be disciple-making disciples.  This is what youth ministry is to me.  I also love serving at camp and seeing students taken out of their element and put into creation where they have the opportunity to get a glimpse of the life that Jesus is calling them to.

In my “spare” time, I am an avid Husker football fan, deer hunter, and fisherman who enjoys tinkering on our vehicles and is forever needing to spend time cleaning out our garage.
